Dr. Maria Vassilikou

Dr. Maria Vassilikou holds a PhD in Modern Jewish and European History. She has studied and worked in Greece, Great Britain, Germany and Israel both in higher education and research institutions as well as in secondary education and in diplomatic affairs. Her publications focus on the history of the Jews of Thessaloniki and the Shoah. As of February 2019, she has been working as a Researcher at the Holocaust Education Department of the Jewish Museum of Greece. She speaks six languages.
